Legendary frame designer Mike Burrows has built some of the fastest bikes on the planet: Chris Boardman’s Olympic medal winning Lotus 108 and a version of Graeme Obree’s Old Faithful which is being eBayed right now.

But in his latest video for the bike maintenance site, MadeGood.org, the veteran designer focuses on knotty problem of leg hair: will super smooth legs make you go faster?

With his tongue firmly in his cheek, Burrows reckons there is an advantage to be had. However it depends how far a rider is willing to go in pursuit a hair width-sized marginal gain.
