With a deeply curved shape and a huge full-length channel and cutout, the Romin is Specialized's take on the endurance saddle.
Like all Spesh seats, the Romin is available in three widths, which you can be sized for at Specialized dealers and concept stores.
The thick gel padding and highly flexible hull makes the Romin a seriously pleasant place to sit. Some testers, though, found the separation of the gel padding on the nose a little too prominent when shifting weight forward on the climbs – we got the best out of the Romin when seated on its supremely comfy wing sections.
Despite this slight niggle though, this represents one of the best options around for endurance riders.
