That's right: readers of BikeRadar can get a professional bike fit gratis, but the show is well worth attending even without one. It's open to the public for the first time ever this year, and takes place on Saturday 27 February and Sunday 28 February at Arena:MK in Milton Keynes. This year’s iceBike* already has more than 50 brands confirmed to attend, including big names such as Shimano, Lazer, Genesis, Ridley and Park Tool.
If you're interested in attending, simply register at www.icebike.co.uk/register/public.
The BikeFitting.com experts will be offering a free bike fit to help you find your ideal riding position, using a static measuring jig developed together with Shimano, which translates the rider’s dimensions into bike positions for all kinds of disciplines and preferences.
You won’t need to bring your own bike or any equipment along to get measured, as it can be done without any extra kit. Once complete, the images and information from the fitting will be available to take away, giving you the numbers to build your own custom frame – but also translate those numbers to over 60 brands and 3,000 frames to help you find the ideal frame size for your needs.
As ever, BikeRadar reporters will be stalking the halls to spy the latest and greatest new bike kit to write about – see you there.
… and don't forget, spaces are limited so register now at www.icebike.co.uk/register/public.
