Accessory manufacturers PRO have joined forces with British rider Mark Cavendish (Team HTC-Columbia) to create the Vibe Sprint handlebar and stem.
Available in June, the latest collaboration follows the company’s partnership with mountain biking's Thomas Vanderham and the Atherton family.
The £149.99 Vibe Sprint stem with full carbon body has a claimed double rigidity of the regular PRO Vibe 7S stem, and uses a Headloc clamp to eliminate lateral movement. Weight starts at 170g, it’ll be available in 105, 120 and 135mm lengths.
The ubiquitous ‘r’ word, rigidity, is also the key to the new Cavendish handlebar too with its reinforced alloy, internally splined construction. Four splines in the top section of the bar increases the rigidity by 9% compared to the standard PRO Vibe 7S bar. Priced at £74.99 it weighs from 295g and comes in 40, 42 and 44cm sizes.
