Shinola is a new Detroit revival company that makes city bikes, watches and leather goods. For the Baselworld watch show in Switzerland next month, the company created a brass-plated version of its Runwell model.
Shinola, which claims itself to be the first brand to make watches at scale in the United States in more than 40 years, will be making its global launch in Basel next month.

Shinola's creative director Daniel Caudill and Sky Yaeger (formerly of Bianchi and Swobo) worked with a team of builders at Shinola on the bike. The Runwell chassis was built at Waterford Precision Cycles in Wisconsin and then brass plated in Detroit. Plated fenders, chain guard and a vintage lamp round out the package.
Shinola only made the one, and it's not for sale.
However, you can buy other Shinola bikes and watches beginning today on Shinola.com.
