Now in its third year, the Eurobike Media Days out in the Italian Tyrol mountains offer a great chance to see and ride new bikes from a range of international brands. We've just taken a wander around the various tents and gazebos, dodging the thunderstorms, to see what we could find.
There aren't masses of brands here, but it's a good chance to see a few that we might not see very often in the UK. Brands such as Simplon and Stevens have a small, but growing presence in the UK, while the likes of Nicolai are high-end bespoke builders whose higher prices allow plenty of innovation.
A lot of what we see in the UK and US is enduro focussed, but there are still plenty of XC riders looking for lightweight rigs to smash up and down hill. Pivot had a couple of new versions of its XC bikes - and there's more in the gallery.
There are only a few component brands here but, being one of the biggest brands out there, we weren't surprised to see Shimano. SRAM is also here, with plenty of road and MTB gear to cast an eye over.
And love them or hate them, e-bikes are here to stay. Rumours of who's bringing one out next abound, and there are a few brands here who, currently, don't have one. Will they soon, though? Rest assured, as soon as we get more news, we'll be keeping you in the loop.
