Lazer Revolution delivers modular design to enduro helmets

Make it into a full-face lid with detachable chin-guard

Innovative Belgian helmet specialists Lazer have put together a new modular helmet for 2016 called the Revolution. It comes with a detachable chin-guard that meets the ASTM-DH standard, meaning you can even wear it during UCI downhill races.

Lazer says the idea is that you decide what kind of riding you’re going to be doing that day, then adapt the helmet for your needs. It also comes with side ear pads and a chin guard that can be mounted on the helmet for additional protection.

The Lazer Revolution will be available from the beginning of 2016 at US$165 (UK and Australian pricing are still to be confirmed. A MIPS version (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) will be available in the spring for US$165.
