Well-placed vents do a good job. Easy to adjust straps make for a secure fit

The hard-shelled Transition helmet from Fox has a hard ABS plastic outer shell, with the usual EPS foam inner liner, and the two parts are moulded together during manufacturing to make for a harder-wearing lid. The Transition does away with the usual rounded lines of a standard pisspot for a more edgy look, which we think looks great.

As with many other helmets like this it tends to heat up pretty quickly, but the 12 strategically placed vents do a good job and it’s certainly one of the coolest we’ve tried. The straps are anchored directly into the EPS inner and are easy to adjust and fit well too, making for a nice feeling of security and snugness.
