Our review
Not best suited to warm conditions, but these are an otherwise excellent set of pads

Ion's K-Pacts secure in place like no other knee pads we’ve tried, staying exactly where they should do even during a full day's hard riding. The open design means you can put them on and remove them without having to slide them all the way up your leg.

Three thick neoprene straps hold them ultra-securely in place. A secondary strap behind the knee keeps the cup where it's supposed to be, while allowing the shin part of the pad to articulate when cranking.

They’re warm when worn for long periods of time, but the articulation means they’re perfectly comfortable for all-day use. The soft SAS-TEC padding is flexible but hardens under impact.

The padding wraps around the leg well, and neoprene patches on either side of the knee provide a bit of additional protection.
