The Super Natural i950 height-adjustable seatpost from KS offers 150mm of stop-anywhere adjustment, controlled with a lever situated just below the saddle. There is the option of upgrading to a bar-mounted remote, but that’s an extra £55.
The 150mm drop makes the i950 great for taller riders. Our 435mm long, 30.9mm diameter post weighed in at an impressive 560g, making it one of the lightest posts with this kind of travel.
The twin side-by-side bolt seatclamp is one of the most secure and easily adjustable we’ve tried, and we had no problems with it loosening off or slipping. No remote means there’s less clutter on your handlebars and no cable or remote assembly to worry about getting gunked up. But things can still get sketchy if you try to adjust it when the trail gets wild.
We put the Super Natural through some grim winter and spring riding, as well as numerous jet washes. We’re yet to have any problems with side-to-side play or sealing, and the hydraulic inners have remained smooth and problem free. That said, following a thorough pasting, it can need an extra nudge to get things moving on the next ride. After that, though, it’s fine.
