Squeezy Energy Powder review
For years my default rehydration drink has been flat coke and water, my default recovery drink, black coffee. Squeezy's energy powder is a fairly standard mix, with maize starch, fructose and glucose delivering 45g of carbohydrate from a 750ml bottle.
PowerBar Isotonic Sports Drink review
The problem with many sports energy drinks is that, next to plain old water, they're a bit sickly. Powerbar seem to have gone some way to cracking this problem with their new powdered Isotonic drink. We tested (tasted) the Berry flavour and it mixed easily into cold water to create a very palatable drink that tasted both like a proper berry beverage, yet wasn't so sweet that it made drinking it during a tough climb a choking experience. We'll be using this energy drink when we need a carbo-fix pre, during and post rides.
EnergySource 4:1 review
EnergySource 4:1 is a fuel for athletes that's recommended for use during and after exercise (although for total recovery, High5's Protein Recovery is recommended).
