The Vigo Carbon Team takes the comfort of WTB’s older Speed series saddles but leaves the excess grams out.
On a long, climb-heavy ride, we didn’t get the hot spots or growing numbness that some saddles produce as they compress over time.
Holes in the shell help tune the hull flex and also allow the padding to push through under load, relieving pressure without reducing support.
Generous padding, a deep pressure relief channel and a wider and longer than normal layout (143x280mm) all help make the Vigo a good seat to pound out the miles.
The long, slightly drooped nose is soft enough to encourage weight shifts on steep pitches, and the rounded tail never snagged.
Add Topeak’s QuickClick saddlebag compatibility, and the ability to change the rails should you damage them, and this looks like a classic off-road bum perch.
