Syntace have focused on improving handlebar ergonomics and reducing weight with the CDR. By gently ovalising the top section of the bar and including cable grooves, they've created a cross section that feels fantastic in the hand and looks good.
The top section and drops are swept to match the natural position of the wrist, and both reach and drop vary with different bar widths.
Road vibration isn’t as well damped as some other carbon bars though, and lab tests reinforced our impression of flexibility when cornering or leaning on the drops.
