This fork can be pushed all the way, and just keeps working brilliantly

The 888 RC3 Evo Ti fork has a plush and ultra sensitive 200mm (7.8in) of travel. It tracks the ground superbly, maximising traction even on the loosest terrain, thanks to the slick nickel-plated stanchions and effortless, stiction-free action.

Braking bumps and rooty sections can be tackled at full tilt, with a smooth, almost bottomless feel. The stiff chassis maximises control and inspires confidence when things get really rough and on the edge of control.

The 888 has external rebound and high- and low-speed compression adjusters, and this particular model also offers air volume adjustment to help tailor the end of the stroke bottom-out. All these adjustments are simple, effective and fully indexed, so it’s easy to keep track of what you’re doing.

Thanks to the titanium hardware and spring, a massive amount of weight has been shaved off of previous incarnations of this fork and it now weighs in at a very competitive 3kg (6.61lb).

The post mount is ready-made to fit a 203mm rotor so you don’t need any additional mount to fit the calliper. The only downsides are that it's not the cheapest fork on the market, and a different colour option might be nice.
