For anyone without a garage or shed, these racks provide a neat, sturdy solution to getting your bikes out of the hallway/living room/downstairs loo, while looking beautiful in their own right.
They hold two bikes each, with extension kits available so they can hold four, with a maximum weight of 90kg. The floor-to-ceiling version needs a minimum ceiling height of 2.13m, which ruled out our wonky period property, so check your measurements before you buy. We got each of them up in under 40 minutes with just a Phillips screwdriver (all other parts supplied).
Made from American red oak they’re lovely enough to quieten anyone in your house who’s anti-bike and they’re sturdy and easy to move from room to room. However, you can buy function-first wall-mounted racks for half the price, so you have to really love looking at your rides.
