Like all things from CrankBrothers, their seatclamps look great. We’re big fans of the lengthy split quick-release lever – it makes achieving a tightly clamped post easier, with less effort. At 53g it's heavier than the competition though, and you’ll certainly be paying for the quality.
The rubber flap at the rear is a neat addition and does a great job of keeping crap out of the frame slot, further adding to its weather-proofing. The knurled tool-free tension adjuster offers loads of grip even when it’s caked in mud.
