Children’s bike specialists Islabikes have launched their first range of kids' cycling clothing. It includes short-sleeved jerseys (£24.99), a winter jacket (£59.99), bib shorts (£26.99), thermal bib tights (£39.99), and leg (£19.99) and arm warmers (16.99).
They've all been designed with plenty of room for growth and have the features and functionality you'd expect of adult cycling kit, with breathable fabrics, reflective details and child-friendly zips.
Established in 2006 by former British national cyclo-cross champion Isla Rowntree, Islabikes make bikes for children aged two and upwards, and they've consistently done well in our tests. This move into clothing marks another progression for the company, who've run demo days at their Shropshire HQ for the past two years.
"We've introduced kids clothing because of the many requests from our bike customers," said Rowntree. "They kept telling us amazing stories of the trips they had done on our bikes, and how they wanted proper cycling kit for their future adventures."
