Olympic team pursuit champion Ed Clancy will be one of the stars riding in the SuperCrit criterium at the Cycle Show this weekend.

The Rapha Condor Sharp rider headlines a 70-strong entry list that includes teammate and Tour of Britain King of the Mountain winner Kristian House and sprint jersey Peter Williams.

All six of the British UCI Continental squads who raced in The Tour of Britain are represented, with Endura Racing including Ian Bibby, Russell Downing and Jonathan McEvoy from the team that helped Jonathan Tiernan Locke secure victory.

Eleven winners of Tour Series rounds also take to the start line just in front of Cycle Show’s main entrance at the NEC, Birmingham. Racing gets under way at 7pm just after the youth race at 5.30pm.

The following morning will see the show’s final event, The Tour Ride Cycle Show sportive, get underway. Riders can choose between 150km Pro Ride or 96km Challenge Ride distances. Both start outside the NEC and head out into the Warwickshire countryside.

Riders can enter The Tour Ride by heading to Stand K6 at the Cycle Show during Thursday, Friday or Saturday, or sign-up at The Tour Ride information desk by Hall 16’s Bike Park during the SuperCrit. You can also sign up on the day.
