BikeRadar have taken delivery of a range of off-the-bike, Tour de France inspired T-shirts from Australian company Après Vélo. The limited edition crop has been put together to celebrate the 100th edition of the race, and looks perfect for those of us who use a musette instead of a shopping bag when riding – not walking – to the local grocery store.
The line of combed cotton shirts ranges from short-sleeved V-neck or crew-neck T-shirts to a long-sleeved, retro-style baseball tee. Designs include 'Alpe d'Huez', 'Finish Line', 'Sprinter', 'Arc' and 'Sunflower Fields Forever', with colours and cuts for both men and women. Each piece costs £24.95/US$34.95.
Pulling on an Après Vélo T-shirt feels familiar, with the use of a silicone wash giving the pieces a soft, jersey-like touch. In terms of detail, the designers Down Under don't seem to have left anything to chance.
A small chest pocket is stitched onto the Finish Line
