Four-time US cyclocross national champion Jonathan Page was at last weekend's CX World Cup in Milton Keynes, UK, with his new custom-specced Fuji Altamira CX. We got the chance to have the man himself talk us through the details of his new machine.

The frame is a stock Altamira CX made from the brand's C10 ultra high-modulus carbon and features a shaped top tube design to make portaging – hoisting the bike over the shoulder – more comfortable. It's available as disc only – something new for Page this year – and has an integrated, tapered head tube.
The rear triangle has post-mount disc tabs, oversized chainstays and carbon dropouts with a replaceable gear hanger. The fork is cyclocross-specific, with post-mount disc tabs a tapered steerer and full carbon dropouts.
Page is sponsored by Shimano, so the brand features heavily throughout the component spec. Dura-Ace Di2 means no frayed cables in rough cyclocross conditions while the BR-R785 hydraulic discs offer solid stopping power and are mated to Enve Classic 45 tubular rims.
The wheels are protected by Challenge Limus 33 Team Edition tyres that Page calls “the best bar none” and which he runs at only 20 PSI.
The Di2 battery is housed in the Pro Vibe 7s seatpost, which is topped by a Pro Turnix saddle, while Pro Vibe bars and stem finish the cockpit.
Page uses Shimano's older Shimano's older XTR pedals, which he says shed mud well. The four-bolt Dura-Ace 9000 chainset comes with 46x39T ratios and a Stages power meter.
