The YT Industries 2020 range is on sale now with revised build kits and new colours for every model, including the Jeffsy, Capra, Decoy, Tues and Dirt Love.
YT has been offering great value, quality mountain bikes since its beginnings and, more than a decade later, the German direct-sales company continues to push the boundaries of price vs performance.
The 2020 YT range is, as always, on-the-money, with five new colours, 27.5in and 29in wheel size options, up-to-date components packages and benchmark-setting prices.
Colourways include handsome combinations of Ghostship Green, Black Magic, Dune Grey, Twotone Blue and Titan Silver depending on the bike and model.
2020 YT Jeffsy
The winner of our 2018 Trail Bike of the Year award saw a total overhaul in 2019, which brought both wheel size versions of the bike up to date in terms of geometry and features, particularly the 29er.
The revised option again won our praise, with its angles and suspension kinematic making it an even more capable descender and a lively all-rounder.
On the 29er Jeffsy, 140mm of rear suspension travel is paired with 150mm up front. The 27.5in wheeled bike has 140mm at the back and 160mm front travel.
There are six build options – three in each wheel size.
The new-era Jeffsy is only currently available with a carbon frame, but the company still offers the previous version in aluminium, so we can probably assume a revised aluminium frame will follow soon.
2020 YT Jeffsy Comp – £2,699 / $2,999 / €2,999
Available in both wheel sizes (29in or 27.5in) at the same price point with matching components, the Jeffsy Comp 2020 is equipped with 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain and it gets the ever-dependable Maxxis Minnion DHR II tyres.

2020 YT Decoy electric mountain bike
The Decoy is an unashamedly gravity-inspired e-bike.
YT touts it as having downhill aspirations and its own “built-in lift”. In other words, let the motor power you to the top of the track, gun it back down and repeat.
This popular electric bike is largely unchanged for 2020, bar a new Shimano drivetrain: it has a Shimano Steps E8000 motor with 540Wh battery, 165mm rear suspension travel, 170mm front travel and a mullet wheel setup (29in up front, 27.5in out back).
Two build options come in five sizes (S to XXL), with the Pro Race version featuring a full carbon frame and the Comp a carbon front triangle and aluminium rear end.
2020 YT Decoy Comp – £4,499 / $4,999 / €4,999
