Giro Junction shoes – just in

Mountain bike shoes that look good off the bike

The Giro Junction is a MTB shoe with a design that’s both pub friendly and bike-specific. At first glance it looks very like a trail running shoe – or perhaps the kind of lightweight shoe that climbers might use for a day out bouldering.

The shoe features some bike-specific design – the first being the amount of flex present, which sits between pedalling stiffness and walking/running mobility. The Junction has a stiff sole up to the forefoot, for pedalling efficiency, but a flexible area up front so that your toes can move a bit when you’re walking.

There’s also an aggressive tread, which should be useful for those hike-a-bike sections, and welded scuff guards are designed to help protect the breathable uppers from everyday wear and tear.

Giro Junction shoes are compatible with clipless pedals and priced £69.99/US$99.99. We’ll have a full review on BikeRadar soon.
